Early parliamentary elections are best held in March-April, so that there is enough time for people and parties outside parliament to prepare, said the leader of 'Velichie' (Grandeur), Ivelin Mihaylov, after consultations with President Rumen Radev.

Yuliana Mateeva and Pavlin Petrov from the 'Velichie' party also participated in the talks with the president.

Mihaylov said that they did not discuss a specific date for the elections at the meeting. He stressed that new parties should enter parliament.

The leader of 'Velichie' described the conversation with the president as very constructive and expressed satisfaction that Radev has a position and a view on things. He said that he shared many things with the president because 'Velichie' is among the people and knows their problems.

Regarding machine voting, Mihaylov stated that it could have a future, only if a receipt is also printed, which can then be counted. He proposes that citizens should also be in the polling station election commissions (SIK) to guarantee the vote for parties outside the National Assembly.

Mihaylov commented that sociology distorts the result and small parties do not have access to the big media. Regarding the amendments to the Electoral Code, he said that if they are adopted as voted on first reading, this means an 'execution of democracy'.
