The National Border Police reported extremely heavy traffic at the incoming border checkpoints with foreign countries. Vehicle traffic is especially intense at the 'Captain Andreevo' border checkpoint, which connects Bulgaria with the Republic of Turkey.

The situation is similar at the border with Serbia, where the 'Kalotina' border checkpoint registers significant vehicle flow in both incoming and outgoing directions. In parallel, the large-scale repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse continues, which imposes a special passage regime.

Crossing the bridge is carried out in a single lane, controlled by employees of the construction company. Traffic is extremely intense, especially at the 'Ruse' border checkpoint for passenger vehicles.

A positive piece of news is the restoration of movement through the 'Stanke Lisichkovo' border checkpoint on the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, which is functioning normally in both directions. The other border checkpoints also maintain a standard passage regime.

On Greek territory, along the Rudozem-Xanti route, active construction activities are underway. Local authorities have secured the construction site with warning signs that prohibit access to unauthorized persons. In the border areas of Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad, only passenger vehicles and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tons are allowed to pass.
