Pomorie Municipality is launching the project "Innovative Health and Social Services in Pomorie Municipality", funded by the European Social Fund Plus, the Human Resources Development Program 2021-2027. The main goal of the project is to improve the provision of integrated health and social services in a home environment for single-living people with disabilities and elderly people who cannot take care of themselves.

The project includes two main components:

Through Telecare, remote monitoring of the health condition of users is provided, using modern information and communication technologies. Five people from the target group are already using individual remote monitoring devices, equipped with an SOS button and the ability to measure vital signs. These devices meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices.

The project, with a budget of 275,415.28 EUR, is in the process of implementation and is expected to be completed on 01.03.2027.
