A new procedure for green and technological partnerships was officially presented by the state agency last week. The financial instrument is part of the National Research and Digital Transformation Program with a total budget of around 61 million leva.
Applications will be open for micro, small, and medium-sized commercial companies that wish to partner with universities and research centers. The main strategic goal is to increase market competitiveness by developing innovative environmental and digital solutions.
The financial parameters of the scheme provide support between 100,000 and 1.5 million leva per project. The co-financing rate varies between 50% and 80%, depending on the company category, research specifics, and geographical region of implementation.
Special emphasis is placed on companies registered in Northern Bulgaria, which will receive additional advantages during the evaluation. Supported activities include testing innovative technologies, prototype development, modeling, and validation studies.
Eligible activities cover the development of business plans, market growth studies, intellectual property protection, and competitive technological solution analysis.
