Hotel owners, tour operators, Burgas council and tech firms will meet to discuss what lies ahead for Burgas and the Black Sea coast in 2027. The ELEVATE TOUR: BURGAS event takes place on Wednesday, 11 November, at 6pm at the Bulgaria hotel.

URBO Studio, HotelsPoint and Burgas council are organising the meeting. It is titled "Burgas and the Black Sea coast 2027: events, innovation and opportunities for tourism development". The talks will focus on the region's commercial prospects.

The series has already been held in Varna and Plovdiv, where interest was strong. In Burgas, the focus is on attracting new visitors, raising revenue and building tourism offers outside the summer season.

Deputy mayor for sport and tourism Manol Todorov, URBO Studio manager Andrey Lilov, HotelsPoint co-founder and chief executive Dinko Todorov, and HotelsPoint business development manager Alexander Alexiev will speak in the discussion. They will talk about ties between local authorities and business, tech solutions, hotel sales and commercial partnerships.

Topics include the business opportunities that big events bring and what to expect in the 2027 summer season. Speakers will also cover how hotels can sell better with digital tools and through new channels. Another topic is how hotels and other places to stay can present themselves to the market and move into new markets.

Joint products that combine a hotel stay with culture, food and entertainment will get separate attention. Participants will discuss how to bundle their services into more attractive packages. Such cooperation can give people more reasons to travel and keep guests longer, so more local businesses earn money from tourists.

The organisers want firms and organisations that directly shape how the destination develops to share practical experience and form partnerships. Hotel owners, tour operators, travel agents, restaurant owners, cultural sites and attractions, event organisers and tourism service providers have been invited.

The programme includes light catering, time for informal meetings, a chance to swap contacts and talks about future partnerships.
