Folklore Festival in Pomorie
For the seventeenth consecutive year, the town of Pomorie is becoming the capital of Bulgarian folklore. The "Khoro by the Pomorie Shore" festival is once again gathering tradition enthusiasts to turn "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Square into a stage of colors and rhythms.
This year, over 700 participants from 25 clubs will showcase the beauty of Bulgarian folk dances.
Event Program:
- June 20, 2026: Start with a parade at 4:00 PM, followed by the official opening and live performances.
- June 21, 2026: Dance workshop and a meeting with experts from the Department of Choreography at the South-West University "Neofit Rilski".
Do not miss seeing the attractive dances "Tenorusevata", "Kukunesh", and "Chetvorka". The event is organized with the support of Pomorie Municipality and Dance Club "Chaika".
