Clouds will thin briefly around midday. A light east wind will blow in the afternoon, then turn northwest and strengthen toward evening. Waves will reach about force 2.
Many lowland areas will have fog before midday. Clouds will thicken over the west, with some rain in places. The air will be almost still in the morning. Around midday a west-northwest wind will pick up, and by afternoon it will be moderate in the Danube Plain and the Upper Thracian Lowland.
Lows will be between 3 and 8 degrees, about 5 in Sofia. Highs will range from 13 to 18 degrees, about 14 in the capital, and up to 21 in the eastern half and the far south.
The mountains will be cloudy, with rain in the afternoon in the ranges of western Bulgaria. A moderate west-northwest wind, strong at times, will blow there. Temperatures will be about 16 degrees at 1,200 metres and about 8 at 2,000 metres.
