The General Directorate “Border Police” marks its professional holiday, the Ministry of Interior reports.
This date marks the anniversary of the adoption of the first Law on Border Guard, promulgated on December 22, 1887.
The ceremonial celebration will begin with the laying of wreaths at the Monument to the Fallen Policemen in the garden of the church “St. Sedmochislenitsi”. Employees will be awarded for their professional successes during the year.
The General Directorate “Border Police” reports a 70% decrease in the migration pressure of citizens from Asia and Africa, as a result of the 24-hour work of the Directorate “Combating Illegal Migration”. 18 specialized police operations have been conducted, with over 60 people detained.
