Main Directorate "Border Police" reported significant congestion at several border checkpoints during morning hours. Traffic is most intense at the "Kapitan Andreevo" border checkpoint towards Turkey, where passenger cars are moving with heavy traffic.

At the "Kalotina" border checkpoint on the Serbian border, active movement has been registered for both passenger and cargo vehicles. Simultaneously, significant infrastructure changes are underway on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse, which necessitates temporary traffic organization.

The introduced construction restrictions involve single-lane traffic, controlled by employees of the executing company. Other border crossings are functioning in standard mode, including those to the Republic of North Macedonia.

Serious reconstruction activities have also been undertaken at the "Stanke Lisichkovo" border checkpoint, where passage is carried out through a limited number of routes. Additional construction interventions are present on the Rudozem-Xanti direction towards the Greek border.

Greek authorities have secured the construction site with warning signs prohibiting access to unauthorized persons. In the areas of Makaza, Zlatograd, and Ivaylovgrad, a specific regulation has been introduced - passage is only allowed for passenger cars and minibuses weighing up to 3.5 tons.
