The second school term for the 2025/2026 academic year starts on February 3rd for all students from 1st to 12th grade.
Christmas holidays: From December 24th to January 4th inclusive.
Break between terms: From January 31st to February 2nd inclusive.
Non-school day: March 2nd (Monday), merging with the national holiday March 3rd, a total of four non-school days from February 28th to March 3rd.
Spring break:
- For students from 1st to 11th grade: from April 4th to 13th.
- For graduates: from April 8th to 13th.
Dates of the state matriculation exams:
- May 20th: State matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature (12th grade).
- May 22nd: Second state matriculation exam (12th grade).
Non-school days for external assessment:
- June 17th: National external assessment in Bulgarian language and literature (7th and 10th grade).
- June 19th: National external assessment in mathematics (7th and 10th grade).
End of the school year:
- 12th grade: May 15th.
- 1st to 3rd grade: May 29th.
- 4th to 6th grade: June 12th.
- 7th to 11th grade: June 30th.
For students in vocational and dual training, there will be production practice or practical training after the end of the school term.
