The International Organization for Migration (IOM) initiated a large-scale diplomatic meeting in Italy, aimed at mobilizing international resources for comprehensive recovery of Ukraine through innovative financial mechanisms.

Leading world diplomats and experts will gather on July 11, 2025 in Rome to discuss strategic approaches for supporting Ukrainian society. IOM Director General Amy Pop will present specific proposals for long-term financing of migration and recovery processes.

During the international conference, comprehensive mechanisms for refugee reintegration will be discussed, with attention focused on critical social sectors. Experts will analyze support opportunities in education, healthcare, and professional qualification.

The organization emphasizes the need for large-scale expansion of programs that will prevent long-term social instability. The goal is to create sustainable recovery models that guarantee the full return of displaced Ukrainian citizens.
