The price of natural gas jumped sharply after February 27 against the backdrop of the US and Israeli war against Iran, which is causing serious difficulties in the supply of oil and gas. Natural gas was trading at a price of 32 euros per megawatt hour on February 27, on March 2 it was already 45 euros. To date, the data show that compared to February 27, natural gas on the TTF hub has increased by 70 percent.
In Bulgaria, the price of natural gas on the platform of "Gas Hub Balkan" in the "day-ahead" segment with a delivery day for today is 40.65 euros per megawatt hour. In the "within-day" segment, the exchange closed yesterday at 39.83 euros per megawatt hour. The reference price in this segment for today is 40.65 euros per megawatt hour.
