Vili Pefticheva, a Burgas photographer many remember from the TV show "Zhivot na kantar" ("Life on the Scales"), has had her first child. Her son Vasil was born on October 17, she told BNR Burgas.
The baby arrived after years of difficulties. Before she got pregnant, Pefticheva struggled with excess weight and blocked fallopian tubes, and she talked openly about it on radio and TV.
She shared her journey to the birth with her many followers and also posted a video of the birth itself.
The reaction surprised her. People of all kinds have sent congratulations, mostly women who are now pregnant or going through IVF to make their dream come true.
"I manage to give them hope, and that makes me even happier," Pefticheva told BNR.
She says being open multiplies happiness but also brings more attacks. "An open person takes many more blows and arrows, but that does not knock me down or break our wings. On the contrary, we are even happier," the photographer said.
Christmas photo sessions are already under way at her studio, and she hopes to go back to work there soon. This year's sets are a Winter Igloo, an Australian Christmas on the beach and a Parisian Christmas. Each takes clients to a different place in the world.
