European Mobility Week 2025: Burgas Becomes a Stage for a Sustainable Future
Burgas is once again solidifying its reputation as one of the leading cities in Bulgaria in terms of sustainable urban mobility, announcing a rich program for European Mobility Week 2025. Under the motto "Combine and Move", a series of events will take place from September 14 to 22, aiming to encourage residents and visitors to rediscover cleaner and more accessible alternatives to car transport.
The initiatives, organized by the Municipality of Burgas in collaboration with numerous partners, aim to improve the quality of life and create shared spaces that are safer and more pleasant for everyone. This year, the focus is on innovation, ecological transport, and transforming the city into a more connected and healthy environment.

Burgas's participation in the European Commission's initiative is long-standing, and the city has been recognized for its consistent efforts to promote sustainable mobility. This year's events are held with the financial support of the EU's LIFE Programme, as part of a project aimed at transitioning to a climate-neutral and climate-resilient society.
