Burgas offers its mascot for Eurovision 2027
The State Puppet Theatre - Burgas has officially presented its vision for a mascot for the Eurovision Song Contest, which could be held in the city in 2027. The character's name is "Euroglarus" – a symbol inspired by the unique seaside spirit of Burgas.
"The gull is freedom-loving, colorful, and artistic – just like the spirit of our city," shares the theatre team.
Who is behind the Euroglarus character?
The attractive stilt-puppet is well-known to the local audience from the performance "Burgas Gulls." The project was realized based on an idea and under the direction of the theatre's director, Petar Todorov.
