EVN Bulgaria has invested a total of BGN 2.5 billion in energy infrastructure and customer service in Southeastern Bulgaria in the period from 2005 to 2025. This was announced during the traditional winter information meetings with the regional governors.

The meetings with the regional governors of Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Kardzhali, Haskovo, Stara Zagora, Yambol, Sliven, and Burgas were held from December 1 to 10. The goal was to maintain a dialogue with the local authorities.

Emphasis was also placed on the new regional structure in Elektrorazpredelenie Yug, which entered into force on October 1, 2025, and is divided into 12 network regions. The change aims for more effective maintenance, network planning, and customer orientation.

The focus was also placed on preparation for the winter season, including new equipment, readiness for response, and communication with local authorities. The introduction of digital technologies and the development of electromobility were also discussed.
