Ecuadorian footballer Piero Hincapie leaves Brighton for €17 million

The talented defender Pervis Estupinan is changing from English "Brighton" to Italian "Milan" after a successful five-year stay in the Premier League.

Ecuadorian footballer Parviz Estupinán officially left "Brighton and Hove Albion" for an impressive sum of 17 million British pounds, with the contract including additional bonus conditions until 2030.

The 27-year-old defender was a key figure in the team from the moment of his arrival from "Villarreal" in 2022. During his time at the club, he played a total of 104 matches and scored an impressive five goals.

Estupinán was part of the historic success of the "Seagulls", when the team qualified for European tournaments for the first time in 2023. Despite strong performance, the team was eliminated by "Roma" in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

Last season, the defender played 34 matches, with his team finishing in a prestigious eighth place in the English Premier League.

Head coach Fabian Gurceler shared warm words about the footballer: "Working with Parviz was extremely pleasant, and he made a significant contribution to the club during his stay".

According to the coach, the footballer has reached a stage in his career where he needs new challenges, and the opportunity to play in the Italian Serie A is the perfect solution.

Estupinán's career began in England in 2016 when he signed with "Watford", but he never managed to establish himself in the main squad. His true breakthrough came at "Villarreal", where he reached the top, winning the Europa League against "Manchester United" in 2021.
