Santa Claus, accompanied by elves from the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross (BYRC) in Burgas, visited the two children's wards of UMBAL Burgas to cheer up the children and medical staff on the eve of the holidays. The initiative included the distribution of gifts and bringing a festive spirit.
In the First Children's Ward, where the youngest babies are treated, the mothers were especially happy to meet Santa Claus. Behind the image of the good old man was 17-year-old Stoyan Valkov, a student in the 11th grade. He received valuable advice from senior nurse Magdalena Valcheva, as he dreams of becoming a doctor.
Nikola Ivanov, a student from the Construction High School, was one of the elves, along with Dayana Georgieva and Neylin Ivanova. For the patients in the Second Children's Ward, who had never met Santa Claus before, the visit was extremely exciting. The children looked with great interest at the costume, the bell and the beard.
The initiative of the BYRC Burgas demonstrates the principles of humanity, compassion and philanthropy. UMBAL Burgas thanks the organizers and all participants.
