Two people have died and 20 have been injured in 15 serious road traffic accidents across the country over the past 24 hours. The data was officially released by the Ministry of the Interior on the department's website.
The capital also reported a high intensity of traffic incidents. In Sofia, three serious and 27 minor road accidents were registered, resulting in three people being injured.
Statistics for the month show that since the beginning of September, the number of fatalities in road accidents has reached 10, with 225 injured. Since the beginning of 2024, the total number of people who have lost their lives in road accidents has reached 323, while the number of injured stands at 5,801.
