The pilgrimage route dedicated to the Rila Miracle Worker enters its sixteenth edition, attracting more and more followers within the Orthodox community. During an official statement at the capital's rotunda "St. George", His Eminence Patriarch Daniel shared impressive details about the scale and significance of the initiative.
The route is distinguished by exceptional challenges – crossing steep terrains, camping in tents, and adapting to various living conditions. Despite the difficulties, participants find deep spiritual meaning in the experience that goes beyond physical trials.
The Patriarch emphasized that the march includes even children between 5 and 7 years old together with their parents, which demonstrates the broad social impact of the initiative. Particularly impressive is the fact that people see personal transformation through fasting, prayer, and collective experience.
Official support for the initiative is remarkable – from President Rumen Radev to local mayors along the route. According to Patriarch Daniel, this confirms the message that when society acts together, significant results can be achieved.
At the end of his statement, the spiritual leader of Bulgarian Orthodox Christians shared the guiding phrase "God help us", which symbolizes the hope and faith accompanying the pilgrimage route.
