The Day Center for Adults with Disabilities in Nesebar is a key social service designed to provide care and support to people with permanent disabilities. The center strives to improve the quality of life of its users by promoting their independence and social integration.
The center has a capacity of up to 30 users and serves residents from the entire municipality. Applications for using the center's services are submitted to the "Social Assistance" Directorate.
The care for users is carried out by a multidisciplinary team of a rehabilitation specialist, psychologist, occupational therapist, and social workers. The work is carried out individually and in groups, taking into account the age, degree of autonomy, and opportunities for work and employment of each user.
The work in the center includes a variety of activities. In addition to thematic initiatives related to world days and national holidays, activities are organized to develop fine motor skills, such as drawing, appliqué, and modeling.
Day care provides individual and group support for the daily needs and activities of users, as well as opportunities for integration into society through participation in cultural and social activities.
