New opportunity for summer holidays: Lublin – Burgas
The summer tourist season got off to a flying start with the official opening of the direct air route between the Polish city of Lublin and Burgas. The event, organized by Lublin Airport and the Bulgarian Embassy, aims to facilitate travel and promote Bulgaria as a year-round destination.
Poland remains one of the most important markets for Bulgarian tourism, and the new route is a key step towards better connectivity between the two countries.
What awaits Polish tourists in Bulgaria?
- Cultural and historical tourism
- World-class SPA and wellness services
- Wine and culinary tourism
- Opportunities for active recreation along the Southern Black Sea coast
At the ceremony, guests enjoyed authentic Bulgarian wines and the folklore program of the "Izgrev" ensemble. With over 470,000 passengers last year, Lublin Airport expects record results, surpassing the half-million passenger mark in 2025.
