The youth teams of "Atletik" Nessebar (born in 2017 and 2018) won the championship titles at the international tournament "Zlatna Dobrudzha", after recording victories in all their matches and demonstrating categorical superiority throughout the competition.
The 2018 team stood out with exceptional results and offensive efficiency. In the group stage, the team achieved victories with 8:2, 9:4 and 8:1, followed by a convincing 6:1 in the semi-final and 5:3 in the final match. In total, the team scored 36 goals and conceded 11.
The 2017 team also went through the tournament without a loss. In the group stage, successes were achieved with 6:3, 9:0 and 5:2, followed by a 6:2 victory in the semi-final and a contested final, won with 4:3. The team's total tally is 30 scored and 10 conceded goals.
In addition to the championship titles, the two teams of "Atletik" Nessebar also earned team awards for the best attack – a total of 66 goals scored, as well as for the best defense – only 21 goals conceded.
The performance of the young footballers is a clear sign of the quality work in the club's academy and the successful development of youth football in Nessebar.
