Successful start for the Sheikhs in friendlies
Neftochimic started their summer preparation friendlies in an excellent way, defeating Rozova Dolina (Kazanlak) 3:1 in a match played at the stadium in Straldzha.
The coaching staff of the "greens" gave a chance to two different squads during the two halves, with many of the club's youth players also getting minutes to shine.
The guests from Kazanlak took the lead shortly before the break after a well-taken penalty by Ventsislav Ivanov. In the second half, Neftochimic picked up the pace and deservedly achieved a complete turnaround:
- 55th minute: Miroslav Radev equalized with a header after a great cross from Kosta Dalev.
- 70th minute: New signing Galin Dimov scored with a wonderful free-kick strike.
- 86th minute: Miroslav Radev rounded off the final score of 3:1 with a close-range shot.
Neftochimic's next friendly is this coming Saturday against the team of Nesebar.
