Kindergarten (KG) "Srebarno Zvunche" was awarded the prestigious global award "Green Flag". This is recognition for remarkable environmental achievements within the "Eco-Schools" program, marking a significant success for the educational institution. The "Green Flag" represents the highest distinction in this program, symbolizing commitment to the environment and sustainable development.

The event, which marked this important step, was the result of a joint project implemented by Devin EAD - "Enter the Green Circle" and the Bulgarian Movement "Blue Flag". Today, in a solemn atmosphere, the "Green Flag" was raised above the kindergarten building, starting a new chapter in its history. Already proudly bearing the status of an "eco" school, the kindergarten marked this moment with a fitting celebration.

The director of KG, Ginka Atanasova, in her speech emphasized the importance of this moment: "Our kindergarten deservedly receives the "Green Flag" — an international symbol of commitment to nature and sustainable development. With diligent work, creativity, and consistency in environmental education, we have proven that caring for the environment is a living part of the daily life of children and the team. Let the green flag proudly wave as a sign of responsibility, unity, and love for nature". The director's words echoed in an atmosphere of joy and pride that enveloped those present at the ceremony.

The kindergarten became a lively place for the celebration, reminiscent of the coming of autumn. Children, parents, and teachers gathered to celebrate this significant moment.

The event did not pass without the participation of official guests. The Mayor of the town of Stracin, Hasan Kraly, as well as representatives of the "Humanitarian Activities" department in the Municipality of Pomorie, honored the ceremony, demonstrating support for the efforts of the kindergarten and the commitment of the local authorities to environmental initiatives.
