Today, the MPs will gather again to discuss the law returned by the president amending and supplementing the Law on Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Oil and Petroleum Products. This will be the first item on the agenda of today's meeting, after the MPs made a decision with 128 votes "for", 63 "against" and 11 "abstentions".

Tension in the hall was palpable as the MPs prepared for the debate. The atmosphere was charged, given the importance of the issue.

The inclusion of this point on the agenda was preceded by a request and subsequent discussion by the chairman's council.

We recall that yesterday the president vetoed and returned for a new discussion in parliament the changes to the Law on Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Oil and Petroleum Products. These changes were adopted on November 7. An extraordinary meeting of the Energy Committee in the National Assembly followed. At it, the veto of the head of state was rejected and the changes to the Law were adopted again. These changes affect the functions of the special commercial manager of the assets of "Lukoil" in Bulgaria.

In addition to the consideration of the law returned by the president, today's agenda of the parliament also includes a first reading of two draft laws amending the Law on Environmental Protection. There will also be a continuation of the first reading of amendments to the Law on the Ministry of Interior, as well as a first reading of changes to the Law on the National Security Service and the Labor Code.
