There was excitement today at the "Yana Luskova" kindergarten in Nessebar, filled with children"s laughter and enthusiasm. The reason? The celebration of World Heart Day. The educational institution"s students participated in a series of games and activities, specially organized to show them the importance of caring for this vital organ. The atmosphere was charged with energy, and the children, under the expert guidance of their teachers, enthusiastically learned lessons about a healthy lifestyle.

The training focused on three main pillars: movement, healthy food, and good mood. The children, childlike naively, but sincerely, understood how key these factors are for maintaining a healthy heart. Teachers used various interactive methods to make the process interesting and memorable.

The event in Nessebar is just one of many that are held around the world on the occasion of World Heart Day. The global health initiative is being held for the 25th time in 2025, with this year being special with its anniversary character. World Heart Day was introduced in 2000 by the World Heart Federation (WHF) with the support of the World Health Organization. This underlines the importance of international cooperation in the fight against cardiovascular diseases.

This year in Bulgaria, the emphasis is on preventive measures and strengthening overall cardiovascular health, reflected in the chosen theme - "In the Rhythm of the Heart". The celebration of this day at the "Yana Luskova" kindergarten is a shining example of how preventive health care can start from the earliest age, laying the foundations for future healthy habits.
