This means that every service should be directed towards the needs of the sick child during diagnosis and treatment.

"For me, this hospital is one of the most meaningful health investments in our country after the democratic changes. My mission is to build a system of quality and safe pediatric care for children in Burgas and the region," said the newly elected administrator.

Dr. Zdravkov emphasizes the importance of involving the family, which is a key factor in a child's life, in decision-making about treatment. He points out that the Children's Hospital in Burgas stands out with a cozy and safe hospital environment, which reduces stress, provides physical safety and faster recovery.

One of the new administrator's goals is to establish the hospital as a strategic and leading pediatric center for the Southeastern region. To achieve this goal, work will be done on building a motivated and competent team, applying modern technologies, developing partnerships and accreditation as a university structure.

Dr. Zdravkov extended a personal invitation to his colleagues who participated in the competition - Dr. Toma Tomov and Dr. Venislav Dimov, calling them a flawless professional reputation. He pointed out that the credit for the rapid construction of the hospital belongs especially to Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

Following the election of an administrator, the Municipal Council voted to increase the capital of St. Anastasia Children's Hospital EAD. The hospital is 100% owned by the Municipality of Burgas and will work in close cooperation with the Medical Faculty and the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov".
