CEC Draws Lots for Ballot Numbers for the April 19 Elections

The CEC determined the order of parties and coalitions on the ballots for the early elections on April 19 through a drawing of lots. A total of 24 formations are participating in the vote.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) determined the numbers of the parties and coalitions on the ballot for the April 19 elections by drawing lots. A total of 24 formations are participating in the early elections – 14 parties and 10 coalitions.

The procedure was public and was attended by representatives of the parties, coalitions, their nominated candidates, observers, and media representatives.

The drawn numbers are (in order of the numbers):

  2. PP "Direct Democracy"
  3. PC "Blue Bulgaria"
  4. PP "Morality Unity Honor"
  5. PC "BSP – United Left"
  6. PP "People's Party the Truth and Only the Truth"
  7. PC "We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria"
  8. PP "Revival"
  9. PC "My Bulgaria"
  10. PP "Movement of Non-Party Candidates"
  11. PC "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" – ARF
  12. PC "Anti-Corruption Bloc"
  13. PP "National Movement Unsubmissive Bulgaria"
  14. PP "Velichie"
  15. PC GERB-SDS
  16. PC "March 3rd"
  17. PP "Movement for Rights and Freedoms"
  18. PP "Nation"

The CEC also determines by drawing lots the order for presenting candidates registered by parties, coalitions, and initiative committees in the various forms of the election campaign:

Over 6.6 million are voters on the list. Voting machines will be used in 9354 polling stations in the country. The election campaign for the vote starts at midnight on March 20.
