Another summer day in the Sunny Beach resort turned into a real challenge for local law enforcement when a four-year-old boy triggered a large-scale rescue operation. The incident began around 9:30 in the morning when the little "explorer" separated from his parents during a family walk along the beach.

The child's father - a 44-year-old man, initially tried to independently search for his missing child, but without success. Around 11:00, he was forced to report the incident to phone 112, which immediately activated the police team from the Nesebar District Police Department.

The professional intervention of officers Junior Inspector Anton Angelov, Senior Police Officer Krasimir Kremov, Senior Police Officer Gergan Ivanov, and Senior Police Officer Nikoleta Darakchieva proved decisive. Thanks to their coordinated efforts, the child was found approximately 3 kilometers from the initial location of disappearance.

The team led by Chief Inspector Pavel Kolev managed to complete the operation in an impressive 45 minutes, returning the child safely to his parents. The case was finalized at the Nesebar District Police Department, where the toddler was handed over to his relieved parents.

The successful rescue operation serves as another proof of the speed and effectiveness of local police officers during the summer tourist season, with hope that similar incidents will be as rare as possible during the upcoming 2025 season.
