A large-scale initiative, jointly organized by the Chamber of Builders, a specialized publication, and local authorities, set new standards for recognizing architectural achievements along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The representative jury, led by the Minister of Regional Development Ivan Ivanov, evaluated projects from eight coastal municipalities.
Pomorie impressed the experts with three remarkable sites, implemented in the period 2020-2025. Among them stood out the "Art Complex - Water Tower - Fisheries Museum", the House of Arts, and the modernized "Lifelong Learning Center".
The most prestigious awards in the "Cultural Sites" category were awarded to the Fisheries Museum - first place, and the House of Arts - second place. In the "Educational and Social Infrastructure" direction, the building of the former Ritual Hall, transformed into a modern Training and Consulting Hub, attracted attention.
The official award ceremony was held solemnly in the city of Tsarevo. Mayor Ivan Alexiev received the awards - author statuettes "Pearl of the Black Sea", specially created by sculptor Stefan Petrov.
Parallel to the ceremony, an impressive photo exhibition was opened in the center of Tsarevo, which presented all nominated architectural projects, demonstrating the richness and innovativeness of modern Black Sea architecture.
