Botev Day in Burgas: Honoring the Heroes
With deep gratitude and respect, Burgas honored Botev Day and those who died for the freedom and independence of Bulgaria. The commemorative ceremony began exactly at 12:00 p.m. with a two-minute siren wail, marking the 150th anniversary of the death of the poet-revolutionary.

Solemn tribute in the Sea Garden
Representatives of local authorities, educational institutions, as well as many grateful citizens took part in the tribute at the monument of Hristo Botev.
- Military ritual: Participation of representative units from the Atiya Naval Base.
- Musical accompaniment: Burgas Brass Band.
- Spiritual support: A memorial prayer served by representatives of the Orthodox clergy.
The event concluded with a minute of silence on bended knees, symbolizing the reverence for the immortal example of the heroes of dignity and patriotism.
