Burgas honored the memory of the Apostle with a solemn ceremony

Regional Governor Vladimir Krumov participated in a solemn celebration of the 188th anniversary of Vasil Levski's birth, emphasizing the significance of his historical legacy before the residents of the seaside city.

A solemn ceremony in memory of the national hero Vasil Levski was held in the Sea Garden of Burgas, accompanied by an official ceremony and military honors. Among the official participants were Governor Vladimir Krumov, Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, and representatives of the local administration.

In an emotional speech, Krumov emphasized the exceptional significance of the Apostle, defining him as an "eternal example to follow". He called for active transmission of historical memory among the younger generation, insisting that children should be familiarized with the heroic deed and values of the national hero.

The ceremony included laying wreaths and flowers at the monument of Levski, accompanied by the mandatory ritual of reverence. The Orthodox clergy from Burgas served a memorial prayer, and the attending citizens honored the memory of the revolutionary with reverence and national pride.

Among the participants were municipal councilors, government officials, and a large number of citizens who demonstrated their respect for Vasil Levski's cause through their presence at the solemn ceremony.
