Burgas immersed itself in maritime magic in honor of International Black Sea Day.
A colorful procession passed through the city center, filled with divers, mermaids, and all sorts of marine creatures brought to life on the streets. The event, which attracted the attention of passersby, was organized by the private primary school "Celesten Frene", with three more schools and four kindergartens from Burgas joining it this year.
The children, dressed in costumes made from recycled materials, carried the main message of the event: to keep the Black Sea clean. The efforts of the young participants were evident in every detail, from the carefully crafted details of the costumes to the sincere smiles that lit up their faces.
The initiative aimed to encourage children and students from Burgas to show creativity by creating costumes from used materials, as well as to motivate them to take an active position in the protection of the Black Sea and the environment. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and determination, a testament to the children's strong connection to the sea and their commitment to its future. Passersby stopped to watch the procession, many of whom did not hide their admiration for what they saw. The streets of Burgas, momentarily transformed into a vibrant marine world, echoed with laughter and joy, proving the power of children's imagination and the importance of the message of nature conservation.
