Burgas councillors voted to ask the government to hand over a state-owned plot in the South-West industrial zone to the city free of charge. The city wants the land to build street water mains for drinking water and for industry. The vote came at the council's meeting on 27 October. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov put the item forward.
The plot is a minor street covering 1,629 sq m. Its identifier on the Burgas cadastral map is 07079.663.685. It borders plots 07079.663.5, 07079.663.98 and 07079.663.698.
Both pipelines will run along the street with points 247, 256 and 255, up to point 254 on the zone's plan. The drinking water pipeline will be 86.45 m long, made of PE 100 pipes, 110x10.00 mm, PN 16. The industrial one will be 83.20 m long, made of PE 100 pipes, 110x6.6 mm, PN 10.
Mayor Nikolov has been tasked with taking the legal and practical steps needed to carry out the decision.
The request will go to the government through the Burgas regional governor.
