Permanent detention measure for Kristian Nazaryan
Kristian, the brother of Raya Nazaryan, has been placed under a permanent detention measure. The decision was made by the Varna District Court on May 24, and it is subject to subsequent appeal, the Appellate Prosecutor's Office announced.
Kristian Nazaryan is charged with serious crimes related to narcotic substances, committed during a probationary period.
Details of the charges
According to the prosecution, on May 21 in Varna, the defendant acquired and held with intent to distribute significant quantities of drugs, including:
- 29.97 grams of fentanyl;
- 0.33 grams of marijuana;
- A quantity of heroin.
In addition to possession, Nazaryan is also charged with distributing heroin to a third party, committed on the same date.
Previous court rulings
The situation is complicated by the fact that Kristian Nazaryan has four previous convictions. His last sentence was consolidated by the Varna District Court, with a total most severe penalty of 1 year of imprisonment with a 3-year probation period. The current offense was committed precisely during this period.
