With this result, we can wish Rumen Radev success and that his good intentions come true – now we have a completely single-party government and all the good intentions of this government can come true without anyone hindering them. This was stated at a press conference by the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, regarding the election results.

Considering that Radev has a president, a Constitutional Court, his good ideas can become a reality, he added.

I don't intend to resign, because we need to lead the party now, said Borisov.

When we are in opposition, we have no dependencies, where we worked with DPS, we suffered a crash – Razgrad, Targovishte, we don't have an elected MP, he pointed out.  Our friendship with DPS brought a loss of 100,000 votes and our friendship with PP -.DB – with another 100,000 votes, that's why this is the result, said Borisov.
