The Regional Governor of Burgas Region, Vladimir Krumov, has activated the early warning system BG-Alert for the Elenite holiday village. This was announced by the press center of the regional administration, which triggered immediate mobilization among local authorities.

Within the next 24 hours, everyone in the area of the village will receive an urgent message warning of the impending dangers. The text of the message is categorical: "Heavy rainfall is expected! Access to the Elenite holiday village, Nesebar Municipality, is restricted today at 15:00 hours! Do not enter the territory of the village! Follow the instructions of the Ministry of Interior and Fire Safety!"

The measure has been taken preventively, in view of the predicted heavy rainfall. Experience from similar situations shows that such warnings are vital for the protection of human lives and property. Certainly, the residents of Elenite and the surrounding area will follow the meteorological forecasts with increased attention in the coming hours.

The crisis headquarters has appealed to all citizens in the area to strictly adhere to the instructions of the Ministry of Interior and Fire Safety. In such situations, cooperation between the authorities and the population is of key importance for the successful overcoming of crisis situations.

The restriction of access to the Elenite holiday village in the coming days is a direct consequence of the compromised infrastructure in the area. In addition, the high soil saturation and the expected new rainfall further complicate the situation. The purpose of this decision, announced yesterday by the press center of the Regional Administration - Burgas, is to ensure maximum safety for the population. Observers note that such measures are necessary to prevent a possible worsening of the situation and to reduce the risks for the residents.
