President Rumen Radev today observed the final stage of a prestigious competition for unmanned aerial system operators from the Land Forces, called "Hawk" Eye".
The event was held at the Land Forces Training Center "Lyulyak", creating an atmosphere of high concentration and professionalism.
The impressive demonstration of the skills of the Bulgarian servicemen focused on crucial aspects of modern military tactics.
The Competition
The competition, held in two stages, presented a serious challenge for the participants.
- The first stage included two main modules: a demonstration of masterful piloting of unmanned aerial vehicles, requiring precision and virtuosity, and an intelligence exercise focused on the efficient detection and mapping of an object.
- Eight teams entered the competition in the first stage, demonstrating an exceptionally high level of preparation.
- Only the three teams with the best results qualified for the final stage, confirming the high criteria of the competition.
Upon arrival, the head of state was greeted with a traditional honor guard, emphasizing the official and representative nature of the event.
It is obvious that this demonstration of Bulgaria"s military capabilities is of paramount importance for assessing the modern capacities of the army and for increasing combat readiness.
The event was followed with great interest, with the atmosphere being decidedly official, but also imbued with palpable tension and hope for the success of the participants.
