The Sofia tennis tournament "K&D Cup 2025" with a prize fund of $15,000 started on the courts of TC "Diana" with massive Bulgarian participation. Seed number seven Dinko Dinev will measure his strength against French player Matthieu Soalia, while Anas Mazdrashki will challenge Argentine Juan Esteves, who is the third seed.

The organizers provided special invitations to three Bulgarian tennis players, which further increases local interest in the competition. Among them is the Wimbledon semifinalist Alexander Vasilev, who will play against a qualifier. Viktor Markov will face Alexander Obrio from France, and Yoan Naydenov will host Ukrainian Nikita Bilozertsev.

Adverse weather conditions in Sofia hindered today's qualification matches. Plamen Milushev will continue his participation tomorrow in the third round of qualifications, with Polish tennis player Oskar Grzegorzewski as his opponent. The match between George Lazarov and Italian Andrea Bacaloni was interrupted at a score of 2:6, 2:5, the Bulgarian Tennis Federation reported.
