The Bulgarian community in Barcelona continues its sustainable development in 2025, becoming an active participant in the cultural and social life of the city. According to a publication by Vision Factory, Bulgarian associations are involved in local councils, cultural forums and philanthropic initiatives, working in partnership with Catalan organizations to promote inclusion and cultural diversity.
The education of children in Bulgarian and Spanish languages is already a factor for integration, and courses in Bulgarian language and culture are offered in schools and community centers. Young Bulgarians are actively engaged in the fields of arts, sports and online business, building a "hybrid" identity. The community is expected to continue growing, realizing new cultural and economic projects in collaboration with local institutions.
