Bulgarian track and field athlete IvaDeliverska recorded an impressive fourth place in the final of the 100-meter hurdles for girls at the European Youth Olympic Festival, held in Skopje, North Macedonia.
In an extremely competitive race, the athlete achieved a time of 13.43 seconds, missing the podium by just eight hundredths of a second. The gold medal was won by Italian Alessia Succo with an impressive 13.04 seconds.
The silver medal went to Swiss athlete Seraina Lim with a result of 13.18 seconds, while bronze was won by Slovak Nina Hejchikova with a time of 13.35 seconds.
Earlier the same day, the 17-year-old Deliverska recorded a personal and national record for girls during the qualifications, running the distance in 13.41 seconds.
