The chairman of “We Continue the Change” (PP) Asen Vasilev stated that the coalition is united and the main priority is the direction of the country's development. Vasilev emphasized that Rumen Radev can support the party if he wishes.

Regarding the upcoming consultations for a caretaker prime minister, Vasilev noted that this is a question for the president. He mentioned that it is more likely that the elections will be in April, and not on March 29th.

Vasilev spoke about the talks with “Democratic Bulgaria” (DB) about the vision for the future of the country, emphasizing the need to clearly define the future of Bulgaria in a strong Europe. He rejected the possibility of governing with GERB and Rumen Radev.

The chairman of PP rejected the claims of an internal party purge and pointed out that the decisions for the candidate lists will be made in two to three weeks, as negotiations with DB are forthcoming. Vasilev confirmed the position that Yavor Bozhankov and Daniel Lorer should not be on the lists.

In response to a question about the postponed ratification for the inclusion of Bulgaria in the Peace Council of Donald Trump, Vasilev stated that signing such an agreement without public discussion and sanction from the parliament is a mistake.
