Government reaction following the murder in Plovdiv
Prime Minister Rumen Radev stated categorically that there is no place for fascist acts in Bulgaria. His comment came in response to the brutal murder of Georgi Kuzev, committed by a group of youths in Plovdiv.
"There is no place for fascist outrages in Bulgaria, and we will do what is necessary," Radev emphasized.
The role of family and social media
According to the Prime Minister, children should be raised in the family and at school instead of being left under the influence of the "toxic environment" of social media. He criticized politicians and influencers who are trying to gain dividends from the tragedy.
Governance Program 2026-2030
At its meeting today, the cabinet adopted its governance program, which focuses on:
- De-oligarchization and the establishment of the rule of law;
- Optimization of the administration and care for income levels;
- Transition from a model of cheap labor to high-tech manufacturing;
- Active attraction of investments and support for Bulgarian business.
