Stars like Cate Blanchett, Glenn Close, and Richard Gere attended the Giorgio Armani spring/summer 2026 collection show in Milan on Sunday, the last collection the Italian designer worked on before his death.

Originally planned as a celebration of the late designer's fashion house's 50th anniversary, the show turned into a tribute in honor of Armani following his death earlier this month at the age of 91.

The event took place in the art gallery Pinacoteca di Brera, where over 120 of his creations are on display. In the halls filled with art, the elegant audience streamed in, awaiting with anticipation. The barely perceptible silence was preserved until the lights began to change.

Models who have walked for the designer over the past five decades returned to present a mix of classic suits and sparkling dresses. To the sounds of melancholic music, the models paraded, reminding those present of Armani's greatness. Each step was imbued with respect and sadness. The show was more than just a presentation of clothes – it was a recognition of the legacy of one of the most influential designers in the history of fashion.
