If such a decision is adopted, we will appeal to the Constitutional Court, and it should be clear that this caretaker government will not be guided by such actions. This was stated by caretaker Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov at a briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the possibility of the parliament adopting a draft law to ratify the agreement on joining the Peace Board. According to him, there is a “very clear practice of the Constitutional Court” that the National Assembly cannot assign such actions to the caretaker government.

We see that political parties are entering a pre-election campaign and I understand how certain politicians are trying to trade national interests for their position on the “Magnitsky” list, Gyurov also commented.

BTA recalls that the parliament's program for today also included a draft decision to oblige the Council of Ministers to submit a draft law to ratify the agreement on joining the Peace Board.
