Public trust in the "Radev" cabinet
At the end of July, the "Radev" cabinet recorded 42% positive ratings, 33% negative, and 25% neutral, according to an "Alpha Research" study. The survey covered 1,000 people on the eve of the government's first 100 days in office.
Personal trust and political profile
Personal trust in Prime Minister Rumen Radev (48% approval) offsets some of the criticism of the cabinet as a whole, analysts note.
The data show a clear difference in attitudes based on party affiliations:
- Progressive Bulgaria: The only group with overwhelmingly positive ratings.
- Opposition electorates: Critical attitudes toward the current government dominate.
- National Assembly: The parliament started with only 20% public support.
Iliana Iotova – rating leader
President Iliana Iotova enjoys the highest trust in the country with a 50% approval rating. Her candidacy for the upcoming presidential elections starts from a strong position, supported by a wide spectrum of sympathizers, including those of "Progressive Bulgaria" and the BSP.
