Massive Inspections by the NRA on the Black Sea Coast

The summer control campaign of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) is in full swing, and the results show an alarming trend. About 40% of the inspected commercial establishments in Burgas and the surrounding region are operating in violation of the legislation.

"Most often, receipts are not issued, or customers are provided with documents that resemble fiscal receipts but are not," commented Anna Mitova, Director of the Communications Directorate at the NRA.

Key findings from the inspections:

Since the start of the campaign on June 29 to date, 1,500 inspections have been carried out on the Black Sea coast, leading to the issuance of 470 acts. Nationwide, the NRA has conducted over 27,500 inspections since the beginning of the year, during which nearly 11,000 violations were identified.
