Fire Department Operational Status as of 6:00 a.m.
The General Directorate for Fire Safety and Civil Protection reported an intense 24-hour period, during which firefighters responded to 134 incident reports across the country.
A total of 55 fires were extinguished, and unfortunately, two citizens were injured.
Statistics of fires with material damage:
- 8 fires in residential buildings;
- 1 fire in industrial buildings;
- 7 fires in vehicles;
- 3 fires in auxiliary or makeshift structures;
- 1 fire in outdoor facilities.
29 fires without direct material damage were also registered, including incidents involving dry grass, waste, and chimneys.
Rescue operations:
The fire department teams carried out a total of 74 rescue and assistance operations:
- 2 cases involving floods;
- 7 cases involving accidents;
- 65 cases of technical assistance.
The Ministry of Interior specifies that five false calls were also recorded.
