A total of 528 candidates sat the written exam for 31 positions of “junior prosecutor” in the regional prosecutor's offices, the Supreme Judicial Council announced.
The exam was held in four classrooms at the Rectorate of the Technical University - Sofia.
The candidates are competing for five positions in the Sofia Regional Prosecutor's Office, two positions in the regional prosecutor's offices in Montana, Varna, Burgas, Sliven and Yambol, and one position each in Vidin, Samokov, Botevgrad, Kostinbrod, Plovdiv, Pazardzhik, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Smolyan, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Dobrich, Razgrad and Silistra.
The results of the written exam will be announced within three days of the signing of the protocol by the competition commission.
